Demonstrate technical and professional mastery and an intimate understanding of the Xello solutions and standards in the following:


Take ownership of the Cloud & Multicloud domain and drive initiatives across Xello and its customers through

  • Solution architecture and design advice across the practice
  • Detailed architecture and product reviews
  • Proof of concept development
  • Development of toolkits and solution accelerators
  • Research and present relevant case studies around similar solutions
  • Preparing the scope for the engagement
  • Estimating delivery timeframes
  • Supervising and mentoring of Xello staff as required
  • Skills gap analysis

Demonstrate professional excellence when

  • Translating business requirements into technical specifications
  • Attending and contributing to customer briefings
  • Delivering technical architecture engagements and/or infrastructure implementation
  • Delivering business advisory engagements
  • Delivering technology advisory engagements and/or implementation
  • Apply a pragmatic approach to automation, source code repositories and IP development

Professional Development

  • Contribute to the general knowledge of the organisation by actively seeking valuable information (via blogs and other mechanisms) and sharing them with the team by documenting discoveries to the company knowledge base and or presenting to other technical staff. Keep the team well informed on best practices in this domain area

  • Undertake measurable assessments that validate the learning outcomes achieved.  This may include exams and certifications


  • Communicate frequently and efficiently with customers, Xello technical staff, and/or Management on customer assignments, detailing technical achievements, deliverables, issues, etc
  • Establish trust relationships within all customers. Not only should this augment additional value for our customers, but also create cross promotion opportunities for the placement of additional and/or complementary Consultants in other domain areas to deliver exceptional outcomes for our customers
  • Develop strong collaborative bonds by communicating and sharing knowledge across teams and business   

Domain Growth (Cloud & Multicloud)

  • Identifying growth GTM opportunities for Xello based on technical specification, and market and customer opportunities
  • Establish trust relationships with Xello Sales & Marketing team, ensuring the overseeing of GTMs, Sales & Marketing enablement and striving for sales target
  • Working closely with the team to ensure skills matrix and resourcing levels are adequate to support the GTMs and sales and delivery targets

  • 3+ years experience in a similar role
  • 3+ years working as a Consultant preferably consulting with key business stakeholders in a Professional Services organisation
  • 7+ years experience designing, building and maintaining technology solutions aligning to the domain area
  • Proven success in managing and developing end to end large scale complex enterprise solutions and services from design through to implementation
  • Strong knowledge of Cloud technologies, including Azure, AWS, GCP, Alibaba
  • Sound knowledge of supporting technologies, Office 365, Identity Management solutions
  • Have a background of Microsoft expertise
  • Fair knowledge of Security principles
  • Experience in Application Migration to the Cloud, including IAAS, PAAS and SAAS solutions to guide our customers
  • Proven experience planning and following through on long term strategic initiatives in line with customers’ needs
  • Leadership and mentoring experience across different skill levels
  • Certifications in relevant technologies highly desirable
