We were born providing security related cloud services in the enterprise market, and extended this to do all things in the multicloud world, where we get our hands on exciting cloud & data projects leveraging Azure, AWS and GCP, and exciting Identity projects leveraging Okta. We help customers leverage scalable platforms, migrating applications to PaaS and cloud native DevOps, all through the security lens.

About the Role

We’re looking for a sales professional to join us as a Sales Development Representative (SDR). SDR’S are high energy professionals that drive the demand for our market-leading cloud, identity & data solutions. Ideal candidates should be eager to demonstrate their ability to be a sales driven self-starter. We’ll provide tools, training, & excellent mentorship/leadership that will help advance your sales career at Xello.

You will be part of a driven and collaborative team that makes things happen! The SDR role will drive four main initiatives – have a strong ethic for large amounts of sales activity, stakeholder engagement, continuous learning and living the Xello values. In this role, you are the customer advisor and a superstar!

What about your experience and other skills?

  • To qualify, follow up, educate, and execute a substantial volume of cold leads to progress prospects further into Xello’s sales process
  • Be able to generate sales-ready meetings and opportunities for Account Executives using Xello’s qualification criteria
  • You’ll research accounts, identify key players and generate interest through cold discovery calls and email campaigns
  • Utilize your active listening skills to understand and uncover customer needs and business problems to effectively communicate how Xello can solve them
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to drive continuous improvement in lead quality, conversion rates and pipeline generation
  • Provide accurate lead distribution and thorough discovery to the assigned Account Executive
  • Consistently achieve quota to ensure territory revenue and growth objectives
  • Use and maintain CRM systems according to standards; providing metrics on leads & overall activity
